POST 9/11 GI BILL®

The GI Bill® provides several education benefits for service members and veterans. We provide a variety of training programs that qualify for these benefits. As an approved military friendly school, we can get you started on a new career path with little to zero out of pocket expenses.

To apply for veteran’s education and training benefits, you will need several pieces of information including:

  • GI Bill® Benefit Application
  • Form DD214: Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty
  • Dates and service status for each period of military service
  • Number of months of eligibility remaining for benefits under one or more VA education programs
  • Transcripts for all periods of post-secondary education
  • Banking information to allow for direct deposit of benefits
VA Vocational Rehabilitation

Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)

The Workforce Investment Opportunity Act (WIOA) provides job training benefits for adults, dislocated workers, and youth looking to gain skills necessary to obtain and maintain employment. Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA)

The Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program was designed to help workers who have lost their previous job due to foreign outsourcing. The TAA program seeks to provide these trade-affected workers with opportunities to obtain the skills, resources, and support they need to become reemployed. The program benefits and services that are available to individual workers are administered by the states through agreements between the Secretary of Labor and each state Governor.

MY CAA

If you are a military spouse, the Department of Defense (DOD) offers a special funding source specifically for you. The Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) can pay up to $4,000 in financial assistance for military spouses pursuing degree programs, licenses or certifications leading to employment in qualifying Career Fields.

Registration Process

Your Admissions Specialist will meet with you to assist you through the Training Concepts registration process so you can start your training as quickly as possible. We will work with the School Certifying Official to determine your eligibility. Training Concepts wants to help you succeed in your new career. We make registering for courses and using your veterans benefits and/or other funding sources simple and easy.

All students must provide prior transcripts from other certification-based institutions before enrolling in classes. Students without transcripts must sign on a form stating that they have not taken comparable classes at another facility or educational institution. Prior Credit will be assessed and granted when warranted thus reducing the duration and cost of the affected programs proportionately. All students must meet individual program skill requirements based on specific competencies needed to effectively participate in any particular program.
