The Workforce Investment Opportunity Act (WIOA) provides job training benefits for adults, dislocated workers, and youth looking to gain skills necessary to obtain and maintain employment. The Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program was designed to help workers who have lost their previous job due to foreign outsourcing. The TAA program seeks to provide these trade-affected workers with opportunities to obtain the skills, resources, and support they need to become reemployed. The program benefits and services that are available to individual workers are administered by the states through agreements between the Secretary of Labor and each state Governor.

If you are a military spouse, the Department of Defense (DOD) offers a special funding source specifically for you. The Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) can pay up to $4,000 in financial assistance for military spouses pursuing degree programs, licenses or certifications leading to employment in qualifying Career Fields.

Your Admissions Specialist will meet with you to assist you through the Training Concepts registration process so you can start your training as quickly as possible. We will work with the School Certifying Official to determine your eligibility. Training Concepts wants to help you succeed in your new career. We make registering for courses and using your veterans benefits and/or other funding sources simple and easy.
All students must provide prior transcripts from other certification-based institutions before enrolling in classes. Students without transcripts must sign on a form stating that they have not taken comparable classes at another facility or educational institution. Prior Credit will be assessed and granted when warranted thus reducing the duration and cost of the affected programs proportionately. All students must meet individual program skill requirements based on specific competencies needed to effectively participate in any particular program.
